DO YOU RESPOND TO RFP'S? PRO-BONO OR CHARITY WORK? WHAT ABOUT TRADES?
My biggest design successes are achieved when working with clients that value my profession, trust in my design sensibility and give me the creative reigns to do what I love. With that said (and as an army of one) I am unable to respond to RFP's or do any pro-bono work in lieu or trade. I will however, dedicate my services at a reduced fee to one charity or organization of my choice per year that aligns with Caribou Creative's core values. Please submit your clear objective, reasonable budget and timeframe to: email@example.com
HOW MUCH DOES DESIGN WORK COST?
It's hard to give an accurate estimate without knowing the full scope of the project, so I like to quote on a per project basis. This ensures that each client I work with gets a fair assessment. My fees are industry standard and because I love to work with small indie businesses, I know all the tricks and tips to maximize your budget to produce beautiful results.
WHAT DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS LOOK LIKE?
Most clients I work with are first-timers, or new to this type of process, so it's important to understand how everything works before getting started.
I will send you a estimate quote (usually varying 5-10 hrs) for review and let you know the approximate timeframe I can complete the project in.
When you're ready to proceed I will send you a contract to review & a creative brief to get started.
Once you sign, date & return the contract, send the deposit and fill out the brief, I will review and let you know if there are further questions.
I will then start the creative process and once completed, I will send you a digital proof for review.
After review, there might be minor tweaks or revisions, but generally we get it close if not perfect the first time based on the extensive brief we go through. If there are more than 2-3 revisions I always recommend re-visiting the brief and reviewing the quotable hours before the creative process can proceed.
Once the artwork is approved, I will either send you print/web-ready files or I will work with the printer directly based on our initial design plan. If it's digital, we will activate everything to launch.
