About Caribou.

Caribou Creative is a comprehensive design studio based in Courtenay, British Columbia.

Founded by Laura Prpich in 2010, she works with individuals and businesses to bring ideas to life through strategic communication and thoughtful design.

"After a decade of working for some of Canada’s leading agencies, I was determined to take the valuable experiences I had gained and turn them into my own business one day. Feeling destined to be my own boss, I took a year off to surf around the world before setting up shop in downtown Victoria, and now reside in the Comox Valley.

Over the past 13 years, I have built relationships, strategized teams, and learned the ropes of running a successful company. My passion for this work is unbridled and the reward of watching businesses excel as a result of good design makes me ridiculously happy.”

“By using nature as a model, mentor, and measure, I look at the intended function of design: focusing less on the WHAT and more on the HOW when I problem-solve. I’ve used my experience as a designer and working with amazing brands to educate my clients on how to choose a greener solution for their business.”
